Sehome's mix of 1910s to 1960s bungalows and cottages near Western's campus includes a lot of rentals and owner-occupied homes where a full custom kitchen isn't always the goal. Often the boxes are solid and what the kitchen really needs is a refresh, which makes Sehome good refacing territory. We replace the doors and drawer fronts, veneer the box faces, add soft-close hardware, and pair it with a durable countertop swap to update the whole look for far less than a tear-out. For landlords, that's a smart way to modernize a unit between tenants; for homeowners, it's a budget-friendly path to a kitchen that feels new. Sehome's older construction and our marine humidity still apply, so we default to moisture-resistant materials and hardware that survives a damp kitchen. If your boxes are shot or the layout is wrong, we'll say so and talk custom instead. But for a lot of Sehome kitchens, refacing plus new counters is the right-sized project.
